Just built a new pc and everything works properly.When I hit the power switch the whole system turns on but monitor says no signal.But when I connect the monitor to my laptop, it works.

Edit:It turned on,booted into the bios.Found out that I couldnt install windows because hdd was defective.Used laptops hdd and windows installed just fine.

Hi A67!

Now I will give you a solution (there is another alternative below if it does not work ^^);

FIRST: At first, do not forget to clean the ends and entrance of the cables.

1 - First of all try another monitor, of course, even if it works when connected to the laptop computer, it is worth trying. (If it works look 1.5) - (If it not works look 2)

1.5 - If it works when another monitor is connected, the monitor does not remove the system, the display board is not showing and a new monitor appears to you!

2 - Take your computer's display card to a computer technician and ask if there's anything that can help it. Check it out and the job will already be solved when the result tells you.

These are the solutions I can give you. I'm sorry that it's not much more :(

I am not using a video card and I don't have a spare monitor :(.
