I have good reason to believe that this will be a pretty controversial post, but Badlion cannot allow players to butterfly click without punishment if they wish to be the "hub of pvp" or provide a fair environment in "competitive" minecraft pvp. Based on recent changes to the network as whole (most of which have been good) I have some reason to think that Badlion may be allowing this soon. Hence why I am making this post now rather than later. I really need the community's support on this and we need to (as a server) make a stance that we ONLY permit a fair pvp environment.What is butterfly clicking?
Butterfly clicking is the form of clicking in which the user places two fingers (generally the index and middle) on the left mouse button. Then the player quickly alternates between the two fingers to generate a high CPS. This goes directly against the age old Badlion rule one button, one finger, one click highlighted in gameplay rules section 3.

Why is butterfly clicking bannable?
Butterfly clicking is usually bannable on most servers because occasionally peoples' mouses double click when they do it. It doesn't always happen on every single mouse, but on most it happens sometimes. Personally, my mouse double clicks very rarely when I butterfly click (about once every 10 minutes). This isn't always the case though, some people get double clicks constantly which allows them to get CPS values upwards of 20 very easily.

Why a server would want to ban for double clicking
In order to provide a fair environment for the players on the server a server sided anticheat would need to detect and ban most things that players are using to give themselves an unfair advantage. Many different types of hacks/macros also double click. For example, some Kill Aura, triggerbots, double click macros, binding left and right to left, scroll clicking, etc. If you agree that binding left and right click to left click is an unfair advantage then you have to accept that butterfly clicking is an unfair advantage.
Limitations in server sided anticheats
It is 100% impossible for an anticheat which is server side to tell the difference between butterfly clicking and binding left and right click to left click and then butterflying over two buttons instead of one. It is also 100% impossible for a server side anticheat to tell the difference between someone using triggerbot and someone butterfly clicking. If triggerbot is an unfair advantage, so is butterfly clicking.
THE SOLUTION
I believe the proper solution is to allow butterfly clicking on Badlion Client 2.0 when it comes out (this would also add to incentive to use the client). A client sided anticheat CAN tell the difference between someone butterfly clicking and someone who is cheating unlike a server side one.

Player who butter fly clicks get double hits and an advantage on other player. I think I should stay bannable.-1

-1i am pretty happy that opponents getting kb on badlion. if anyone would like to butterfly click he can just go and buy a deathadder elite or another mouse that dont have this doubleclicks
