I'm done with the Community UHC abuse
I've found hundreds of community UHCs with host that will blacklist their killer. I'm so done with this crap. When people report the abusers, they get the same reply. "It's their uhc, they do what they want" I've had uhcs where i get super stacked and i kill the host fair and square and get blacklisted. I'm done with the "it's their uhc" bs. This is my rant. You can ask hundreds of people about this, they will all agree.

Now, what do I think we should do to fix this?

Simple. If a community host is recorded abusing, their next Lion+ purchase or extra UHC hostings are increased in price. If they bought the permanent Lion+, make it so they can only host every other week instead of weekly. You guys give them a privilege because they pay you, and they abuse that privilege. That's like me having a company and giving part of it to an investor and the investor burns down the company headquarters. You give them the privilege to host a uhc in exchange for money, and they abuse that privilege. We need to stop the abuse NOW.

Here are just 2 examples of host abuse:

I'm done with the abuse. Fix it.

I agree with you, buying a rank doesn't means you can abuse your permissions. Something needs to be done.

It would be completely unfair to raise prices against those who take harmful action in community games. They pay for the right to host those games and unless they break a network rule, punishing them will not happen. Simply give them a bad rating and do not play their game instead.

Is unfairly punishing players to gain an advantage/win not against some form of rules, that's rather silly if you ask me?

They payed for the right to host those games and they run themselves. It's up to them what they do.

What is a bad rating going to do? When people look at Community UHCs, they don't look for the host's rating, they just play!

There is not really anything staff an do, if people slowed down and paid attention to the rating they would see the host is disliked.

It's still just a dumb idea that hosts can abuse. Hardly any people actually read ratings, heck I didn't even know there was ratings.

I'll mention this to other staff members/seniors and see what they think/what they can do about it.

Seen you quite a bit in community uhc's. Completely agree however, if you want to play legit games i would recommend playing invisiblq or westra123's games. Gl in the future mate, maybe we can team one day ;)

I do enjoy invisiblq's games, but when I played one of them I was super stacked and died to a hacker who had a ton of kills, told invisiblq, and he didn't reply until the game was over.

I think the easiest fix would be to only get blacklisted after death/game ends in my opinion, this way your time wouldn't be wasted

I don't think raises prices would be a good idea. However what might help is a Karma system. After every game, players can vote on whether the game was good or bad. (Similar to what happens in Arena after you play a match, you would usually rate the map) or if you die after 25 minutes, you can vote right after your death. I say thirty minutes because obviously if someone dies at the 20 minute mark, they're most likely salty and will vote down, would not be fair to the host.

Also if the host exceeds 3 blacklists (or more) in the game his Karma decreases. Every blacklist would be -5 karma. The more Karma the better reputation. Let's say for example, normal karma is 250. Every 'host' starts at 250 Karma. If they have 200 means that they dont have good reputation. You will be able to see their Karma when you hover over the apple before joining. It can say Karma:320, it will mean that this hosts had good votes/reputation.

Good idea! I think every blacklist should remove some karma, yes some blacklist is reasonable but sometimes the host only kicks the person who kills them, which could just continue the problem
