Hey guys,I have been wondering whether using 100% ingame sensitivity in order to have the same both ingame and on your desktop/in your inventory instead of changing it around would (at least in theory) help your aim to get better on the long run?
I know that in general this is all about personal preference but for me it seems to be just logic that if someone started using 100% ingame sensitivity he would end up having better aim than he would have if he had used 115% for instance.
What do you guys think about this?

lol use what ur good with its kinda dumb to ask what sens to usePosted on 03 March 2018 - 03:03 PM
No idea what you're asking but if it's of any use for you I use a really high DPI with very low in-gane sensitivity.Posted on 03 March 2018 - 08:19 PM

You did not get what I was trieing to say.
I was asking about 100% sensitivity because it appears to me that using that certain value is beneficial since if you were using 500 DPI and 100% ingame you would have 500 DPI both ingame and on your desktop/in your inventory. But if you were using 500 DPI and 150% ingame, you would end up having two different sensitivities, 500 DPI on your desktop/in your inventory but 750 ingame (hope you understand the maths), so doesn't it appear logically that somebody using 100% ingame sensitivity which equals having only one sensitivity for both could at least in theory get better aim than the people using other values?
Do you get my point now or do I have to elaborate even further?

I get the point, 100% in game in my experience has been almost the same as your desktop sens and I have used many sensitivities ranging from 300dpi w/ 80%/100% to 500dpi and 100% to 1000dpi and 100% (currently 90%). So you are right with 100% being close to your actual mouse sensitivity. As for if it is beneficial in pvp… well consistency is nice with aim I guess. Aim is mostly muscle memory in my opinion so 100% in game sens would help in some way.Posted on 10 March 2018 - 04:24 AM

Agreed. I have switched to 100% and my aim is improving quite fast! However, I changed my DPI as well in order to keep the same mouse speed ingame so that I would only have to get used to the new desktop sensitivity.

I think Dreamer_420 said that there's a bug in the game that makes the screen tear when your in-game sensitivity is different than 100%. This doesn't really affect pvp, but I personally use 560 DPI and 100% sens so my screen doesn't tear.Posted on 11 March 2018 - 01:01 AM
I dont know im using very low sens,I use 54% and 300DPIPosted on 11 March 2018 - 09:08 AM
If you want "good" aim i think u need to put low sensPosted on 11 March 2018 - 10:11 AM

I think you need to be used to your sensitivity, that's all. Also, I must say that 100% really helps; I started using it myself!

I use to set my sensitivity 40% above the sensitivity is use normally (95% to 135%), then i play some speed II kits untill i find the best clicking position to get a smooth aim, so that should work for most of players: Btw most of melee ladder's top players only use to blockhit straight so there's not much to do about aim with them.
