I have been wondering in a mcsg battle which is better the Flint and steel or the Fishing rodPosted on 11 January 2015 - 04:38 PM
I personally would say the fishing rod because you can get absolutely insane combo's with a rod however Flint and Steels can be very good to slow them down while you're running if you're low.Posted on 11 January 2015 - 07:29 PM
im not a mcsg skid but i honestly think you should use both equallyPosted on 12 January 2015 - 08:15 PM
I like to play mind games with the flint. I sometimes hold it in my hand for 2 seconds so my opponent backs up. You can then pull out your bow or rush them with a fishing rod and get in some sneaky damage.I like to use the fishing rod as a spacer and use it even though they're not within rod range. This creates a false mentality for the other player that he'll/she'll have to be more careful when approaching you.
If you play MCSG as if it was a mind game, you can effectively make your opponent be more cautious than he/she has to, giving you an edge in the fight. That's my philosophy on it anyways :P

I'd say Fishing Rod, If a player jump and you rod them at the right time then i'm sure you will be atleast 3 hit combo+ if your strafing pattern is correct then your opponent will stuck in the airPosted on 05 February 2015 - 11:29 PM
You would know with a 1400 ELOPosted on 05 February 2015 - 11:52 PM

There is no "better" you have both, use them both.Posted on 06 February 2015 - 04:18 AM
Both are good, there is no dominance in this comparison.Posted on 06 February 2015 - 05:00 AM

I never use the rod, but always use the flint and steel. I rarely play MCSG, but when I do, I don't think it's a problem to play like I do.Posted on 08 February 2015 - 10:11 PM
THIS IS THE POT PVP SECTION FOR A REASON
