You need to say more information
Weekly disasters shouldn’t be too hard at the first week after the previous Tribulation but it will get harder every week. The Tribulation should be the hardest and only a few should survive.

Tornadoes could just be people getting thrown up into the air. Maybe it could include a few blocks flying away - but not too much that will make the server lag. Storms could be rainfall with lots of thunder strikes and flooding and explosions.

Of course there should be a motive for staying outside or else everyone will just stay underground. Maybe outside is where the prizes are at and people will have to collect them.
