Better Rating System
So right now in my opinion, the rating system is crap. I lost about 80 rating to some pingwhores and hackers (yes none of them were legit). But them for a win I get like 5 rating? If that? I think the loss should be anywhere from 20-10 rating loss and a Win should be 10-7 for a gain. That way there is still some challenge but it doesn't take you 20 games to get back 3 losses worth of rating.

If you're good enough for 1700 you'll easily get it back.

True. In theory, if you play enough ranked matches then you will get an elo rating assigned to your skill level.

I don't agree with this.

A cool feature would be a revenge boost

( gives you like 4 more elo if he beats you and you beat him back )

i just don't like winning matches and getting 0 elo. If anything, any matches that would be a 0 gain should just be bumped up to 1

Yea that is the issue. I get like 3 or 4 rating for winning but if I lose to someone that takes no knockback, and can hit me from 7 blocks away while strafing (by the way, what is that? Is it a technique or just plain hacks?) and I lose like 25 rating. I would have to win 7+ games to get that back.

he means when you literally get 0 elo from someone. like when you kill someone with way worse elo than you and LITERALLY get 0.

Other than the 0 thing I don't see an issue with the elo system. We all go up against hackers and lag out sometimes, meaning the elo system is balanced. Everyone deals with the same stuff, you end up with elo matching your skill. If you get drained, it's because you weren't playing at a level someone of that elo should play.
