I am all for privacy and security, that being said; Badlion/TEO would not misuse any information they collect. They are a professional and legally registered company in the United States and are also connected via partnership/ownership (not sure which it is at this point) to ESL, which is also, a legally registered company that has been around for years and involved in several games including big titles like CS:GO and CoD- they would never get away with shady business practices.BAC works under the same concept as other client-side anti-cheats such as VAC, BattleEye, EAC, and ESEA AntiCheat. They have access to the types of files and such running on your computer and what, if anything, is either injected into your Minecraft Client or accessing your game memory.
Now, I don't mess around with Minecraft AntiCheats very often but that is just what I know from working with client anti-cheats in other games so obviously, don't take what I say as an official quote from a Staff Member, it is an official quote from roygator14, not roygator14 the Moderator.
