Badlion Client Open Beta Update 5/1

Hey folks. Super excited that we are finally in Open Beta and that we already hit over 5000 concurrent users last weekend. Keep sharing the great news with all of your friends that Badlion Client is now available to everyone!

Today we have a stability patch to help fix some of the random crashes and issues with launching that some users are still experiencing along with some awesome news for server owners.



Badlion Client Server Mod API Now Available

One of the largest requests from server owners since Badlion Client hit open beta last week was the ability to enable/disable certain mods. For instance Hypixel has requested to be able to disable the fly speed, while Mineplex asked to remove the minimap. GommeHD already had early access to this feature to disable mods on their servers, which we are now allowing any server to use starting today.

We have documentation available on our Github for how to use this feature. Please keep in mind that this should only be used if you want to disable certain features on the client for all users: https://github.com/BadlionNetwork/BadlionClientModAPI



Minecraft Fixes

  • Fixed random crash issues throughout the client's usage
  • Fixed an issue where alt accounts could not be switched to properly
  • Fixed an issue where the client did not save the last used account from the alt manager
  • Fixed text wrapping on the patch notes in game
  • Fixed an issue where resizing the Minecraft game would close certain menus
  • Fixed scrolling on the Badlion Client patch notes
  • Fixed fancy font color support to not randomly change the colors of text
  • Fixed an issue that would crash the game with Togglesneak
  • Fixed Item Counter to reset properly when using the reset button
  • Fixed a crash with the home screen of the client
  • Fixed an issue where invalid sessions would not automatically refresh on 1.8
  • Fixed an issue where the scroll bar on certain menus did not reset properly
  • Fixed hover color/arrow on the Alt Manager

    • Launcher Fixes

  • Fixed random crash issues throughout the client's usage
  • Fixed an issue where some users could not launch the client
  • Fixed some issues where the anticheat would randomly die while you are playing
  • Fixed a small issue where some users had the wrong Minecraft path in their settings
  • Try to fix -26 problems…if still happening need new bug reports.



  • Cosmetics refresh every minute in game now if the menu is opened



  • Motionblur Mod
  • 1.7 Sneaking Animation
  • Clan Wars Mod
  • Chat Improvements
  • Friends System in Minecraft
  • More Bug Fixes and polish for existing features



  • OBS needs admin rights to record with the Badlion Client.
  • Some minor memory leaks if the client is used for 10+ hours (we are investigating this)



    • Thanks for all of the support and bug reports recently. I hope more of you guys are able to use the client now with fewer issues and I know this will only get better with time. Can't wait to get some new features into the client too :)

    Amazing, there already should be like a plugin made that just has a config.yml made so it is easy for smaller servers without real good java developers to disable what they want.

    @MasterGberry please fix the bug where do player are getting baned while using BLC 2.0. It happend to lot of my friends that bought the beta cape and some staff members (ChessBoy_99 no offence to you your great mod). They got banned bcz theye were playing with 300ms. They seted up some logs and they got banned

    You already could use it on hypixel. I had been using blc 2.0 on hypixel for almost 2 months.
