What you just said makes no sense at all. People sell things they have worked a lot on for profit all the time. The only alternative is to delete the server did you even think before typing this

If this happened then all of the players who are playing right now would probably stay. Even though it would be hard for the owners to sell something they worked on for years, it would also be better than just deleting all their effort.
