because you don't know what's going on in the other person's life, and if you tell them to kill themselves they might just do it if they are mentally ill with something like Depression.EX: VanillaPockyFox (only that he wasn't told to kill himself)

Yeah, recent events clearly affected the decision, including the VanillaPockyFox and itsjhalt incidents, but that doesn't change that telling somebody to kill himself is simply unethical and much more offensive than meets the eye.

Death Threats is the worse offence you can do on the server. You won't get unbanned and you we won't tolerate you joking around.Death Threats aren't fun and can be quite damaging to a person who is emotionally unstable or currently depressed. I understand someone might be joking but at the end of the day, it isn't funny. Would you tell your friend to 'go hang themselves'? No, you wouldn't because it isn't morally right. So why would you do it to a random person you don't know?
I am just explaining how damaging it can be and that's why it is a instant permanent ban and no return for a long time.

The only thing is… people have been getting unbanned days after they were banned for "Death Threats." It seems that if you make a sincere appeal, and it is your first offense, the odds of getting unbanned are pretty high.

Cyber bullying is the stupidest thing I can think of. If people are being mean to you on the internet then you need to grow up and take it or block communications, it's not that hard. The whole 'pvp' community circlejerks so hard when shit like this happens and I'm sick of it.
