1.7 item holding animation (3rd person) for 1.8.

Hi! A feature I've been wanting to see in BLC is an option to switch between the 1.7 & 1.8 item holding animations in the 3rd person. Here's what I mean.This is what it looks like in 1.8
And this is what it looks like in 1.7
I much prefer the look of the 1.7 item holding animation and I would love to use it on 1.8. If this could be added that would be amazing. =)
