After the 1.9 combat update, the pvp community had to stay in minecraft 1.7.10 / 1.8.9, but it means no more change to the game for all of this time because Mojang doesn't to bring back the old combat mechanics and there is also more cheater.

Cheatbreaker tried to stop cheaters with servers that can only be joinable with the client but it failed.

So I had the following idea :

Adding the lastest Minecraft version to the Badlion Client, but instead of just adding all mods on it like right now, reintroducing the old combat and making servers that can, like Cheatreaker, only be join on BLC.

This would mean the old combat on all the new Minecraft versions and no more cheater.


Tell me what do you think of this idea :^)

Old combat can be enabled by servers on 1.9+ clients by lowering the cooldown of weapons etc. to practically 0.

ViaVersion plugin on 1.8 servers and OldCombatMechanics on 1.9+ servers can do this.

It isn't exactly the same thing, that is why people are still playing on 1.7/1.8 on servers that support 1.9 and higher.

And forcing people to use the Badlion Client means less cheater, wich is better than server side anticheat (like watchdog wich take an eternity to ban cheaters)

And I can reduce the 1.9 cooldown to 0 with a single command without any plugin or mod.
