GUI Scale x% Slider
The current system for resizing GUI add-ons is really finicky and hard to use, and take a long time and a trained eye to sync it up with your Minecraft GUI Scale. I personally have my GUI Scale set to Auto (4x), with my BLC mods scaled at Normal GUI Scale (2x, or 50% of my Minecraft GUI Scale). Myself and quite a few other players think it would be much better to use a slider in the mod's settings than to click "Enable GUI Editing" and spend the next 3-5 minutes trying to size every mod perfectly so things like fonts and potion status icons don't look really ugly.

Below I've included two screenshots showing what I mean. Pay close attention to the text in these screenshots.

It takes me several minutes to scale each mod to fit perfectly to the font how I like it, which is a really inefficient way to do it. I think if the method was re-coded to use Minecraft's GUI scale as a base - as 100% - and then use a slider to set it from 50% to 200%. It's a small change that makes the client a deal-breaker to a lot of people, myself included. I'd love to use BLC, but there's just inefficiencies that make it hard to enjoy, this being the biggest one of them. Thank you for reading, I hope you consider looking into working with this idea.

Would be really nice because the text looks really ugly when you have to re-scale it manually

I tried this recently on other clients, they have the same text rendering problem. We are going to look into a way to fix this properly if possible.
