I guess the reach display mod might have some error.Or the video is somehow faked.
Maybe he used a cheat (which is possible and not banned if he is not on a bac-protected server).

it is possible to sometimes get more than 3 blocks if the server is lagging and you are not hackingadit: shouldn't be more than 0.1 blocks extra reach and only client side it will show, server side is possible up to 6

No, its not dependant on lag.
