How to add friends.

ok so i saw a thread from October 2018 on how to add friends and how to fix the issue, but i don't know how to find specific parts of a Json file and i don't want to go through the 3000 lines of code. if someone could help me, please do. my discord is Absol27#7227 so we could screen share/communicate easily. thank you.Posted on 10 March 2019 - 07:47 PM
To open your friends menu, press 'G' this should open a sidebar on the right - http://prntscr.com/mw2oexThen type your friends username and press the plus to add - http://prntscr.com/mw2oop
If 'G' does not open a friends menu then do this:
1. Press: Windows+R, there should be a RUN window.
2. Type in: %appdata%
3. Go to: .minecraft
4. Go to: BLClient-Mod-Profiles-X.X
5. Open the default.json
6. Search for:
},
"friendSettings": {
"openKey": XX
}
}
It should be at the bottom of the file.
7. Change: XX to 34 to change it back to: ''G"
8. Save it and restart the client

so I did that but now when I log in, my profile is still in the file but default magically shows up once minecraft is launched and its the only profile available to be used. do you know how to fix this?Posted on 10 March 2019 - 08:26 PM
Welp time to quit mc or have to redo every single setting
