Computer Password Issue - Resolved... kind of?
Last edited on 11 May 2019 - 07:48 PM by Kiralain
So, I recently downloaded and installed BLC (Badlion Client) and everything was fine and dandy, when Iclicked yes on the restart computer prompt for BAC (Badlion Anti-Cheat) it DID restart however when I tried to log into my
computer after restarting, my password didn't work… fortunately, I was able to regain access to my PC by changing my PC's
password to a new one but this is still a bit concerning. I'm not sure if this is a "bug" or something but if it is,
it needs to be fixed ASAP. Also, my friends who downloaded BLC didn't seem to have this problem.
Anyone know what exactly happened or-?
Thanks,
- Ash

IMPORTANT EDIT: After further researching into the problem I found that this was a problem from MY side, and just so happened to be right after I restarted my computer from the BAC restart, I apologize for any possible inconvenience to the Badlion Dev / Staff team, this is NOT a problem with BLC or BAC (from what I know) and I don't think it needs to be looked into, once again, sorry for potentially causing any concern. The issue was that for some reason, after restarting my computer with BAC it, for the first and only time in the entire time I've had this computer, wanted me to use my microsoft password instead of my usual computer password to log in, I admit that it was MY fault for not paying more attention and looking into the details about it more, however I still am unsure on why exactly after the BAC restart it needed me to use my microsoft password, instead of my normal computer password to log me in. As I said that's something that's never happened to me before, whilst I've used this computer.
So although the report about it causing me to have to reset my password ended up being false and a mistake from my end.
I'm also not completely sure why it made me use a different password for my log in than normal.
Once again, I apologize, and please forgive me for the potential stress or issues this post may have cause, but I hope you can understand, during the heat of the moment I was a little concerned on why my password supposedly wasn't working and was really scared > ~ <
On a side note, does anyone have any idea why exactly my computer would have randomly done this after this one specific reboot?
If you have any idea, let me know.
Thanks,
- Ash

A restart is doing more stuff nowadays than shutdown & bootup.A normal shutdown keeps some data cached for a faster start afterwards.
Apart drom that I can't help you, I set up my Win10 completely without a microsoft account (by using the small easily overseen buttons on install).
