i think that there needs to be saved mod profiles when the client detects what server the user is currently playing on. for example, say if i were to play an hcf server, viper, and also play a practice server, mineman club, i could set up my practice mods for mmc and save it so whenever i log onto the server, those mods are active and in the position i originally had them. then, whenever i log onto viper, i could set up my mods there and save them to that server. also, if i wanted to play another server, faithful, i could add that to the list of servers to load the "HCF" mod profile.Posted on 30 May 2019 - 06:46 PM
umm nice idea if its possible to add might want to see this commingPosted on 31 May 2019 - 01:04 AM
I mean, how hard is it to just open the mod slideout
and manually change it?

All you'd have to do is make one profile per server (There are more than 5 possible profiles, you can have multiple pages of them)
It's not that hard for you to do.

possible, but automation makes life easierPosted on 31 May 2019 - 01:38 AM
Not a bad idea, but probably more work than it will see in terms of usage.Posted on 31 May 2019 - 03:03 AM
i understand that is what you're supposed to do, but allowing it to be automatic when you join a server would be much faster. even then, most people sometimes forget that they're on one mod config than the specific one for that type of game mode. i always find myself editing my practice config to have coords always on but it doesn't look the greatest in a practice video.just saying, this would be a nice addition to the client and making it easier to have mods for specific servers.

i'm sure it would take a lot of work, but it'd definitely be helpful for those who play different modes, such as i do. especially when i change servers quite a bit on some days from practice to hcf, for example, if i were recruiting for a faction and i wanted to test out those new people in 1v1s.you could also do a community poll about this is that seems necessary for this addition if you're considering.
