Lag
First off, I suck with computers and stuff so don't rage or facepalm at me if this is something retardedly easy to fix.

I've tried looking this up but I couldn't really get a clear answer.

I've been lagging (ping wise a lot over the last few days)

My internet seems to be just fine

next moment it's this

http://gyazo.com/4d0663513932137888c348986bae1def

and my ping constantly spikes on basically every server i log onto

http://gyazo.com/0275f5055aa25a537bec7f59c04cf329

only been happening last couple weeks

not sure what the problem is, cause I've had the same internet provider forever

just wondering if I'm doing something wrong on my side

Flush your DNS in CMD, restart your internet, maybe change your IP routing with your MAC address in your router's gateway. If none of that works I could tell you a few registry tricks and internet boosting techniques to improve your connection. If none of that works, contact your ISP.

Chances are your using wifi & getting a fuck load of interference. press windows key type 'cmd' hit enter, type 'ping -t 192.168.0.1' then just play your game or whatever & go back to it when you lag, if it spikes from like 1ms to 600ms or whatever its probably interference or a problem with wireless card (like getting hot from graphics card shitting on it)

I had a similar problem, mine was that all the drivers for my wireless card chipset was not truly compatible with windows ultimate 64 bit.
Some things that helped me when on ultimate was to use a static ip & turn off the wireless card power saving.

you can download a program to see what wireless channel your on & see if you can get less interference from them.

Also it could just be someone walking in front of your router.

It's hard to know, but like this might give you some ideas. Also if you ping your router from another device you can see if its a problem with router/interference or just your pc
