This feature would allow people to see the RAM they are using and the RAM they have allocated, probably in a ratio form. (for example 1023mb/4096mb) There could also be options like rounding to the nearest gigabyte or using fraction form. Yeah, you can technically see it in f3 but it is takes a lot of your screen to see. This is also the reason they added the coordinates mod.
