You should also create a bug report if your Minecraft freezed every time you tab out of it. That would help devs fix it sooner.

Hey Omelette___,There are two different ways that you can access the folder which contains your Mod Profiles.
The first method requires you to open up your Badlion Client and then select "Mod Profiles" in the top left of the main menu (the menu which contains Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Cosmetics, etc), once the Mod Profiles dropdown appears, select the folder icon to the right of "Your Profiles" at the top of the dropdown. This will open up the Mod Profiles folder for whatever version you're playing on (1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.12 & 1.14).
The second method requires you to press your Windows button + R on your keyboard at the same time, this will open up a small run window. Inside the run window, there should be a small text box that you can type in. You should go ahead and type "%appdata%" inside of this box and then select "OK". Windows Explorer will now take you to your AppData folder. Inside of your AppData folder, there should be another folder called ".minecraft", you should go ahead and open this folder. Now that you're inside of your ".minecraft" folder, you should see a variety of different BLClient-Mod-Profiles folders, depending on which version your Mod Profile is for, you should select the corresponding BLClient-Mod-Profiles folder. For example, if your Mod Profile is for 1.8, you should open the BLClient-Mod-Profiles-1.8 folder.
Now that you're in the folder which contains your Mod Profiles, simply drag the .json file from your backup into this folder and restart your Badlion Client.
Once you restart your Badlion Client, you should open the Mod Profiles dropdown once again on the main menu, and ensure that your new profile is selected.
Let me know if this works for you.

No, I have done the two methods stated and they have yet to work. I'll make a new profile instead, but what confuses me is why Badlion deletes all your already made presets after you alt-tab back into Minecraft and the game freezes, forcing you to end the process.Posted on 05 August 2019 - 07:04 AM

Unfortunately, there is an issue that causes your Mod Profiles to reset sometimes.
When you say you've got a backup of your old Mod Profile, do you mean you've saved the .json file for the Mod Profile in another folder? What exactly is it that you've done in order to backup your old Mod Profile? This will allow us to better assist you with loading the profile back.
