1.8.9 Not loading

I have had this issue for roughly a month and thought it would resolve in a client update. But this situation never seems to resolve I do have the ability to play 1.7.10 and anything other than 1.8.9 I have tried re-installing both minecraft and badlion client but I get the same outcome it loads up fine I just never have the minecraft tab load up. If anyone has a suggestion or can tell me how I can fix this it would be greatly appreciated.Posted on 04 August 2019 - 10:39 AM

When you launch 1.8.9 and wait some time, does it say "Client already open" when you click on LAUNCH again even if it isn't open? If that's the case, submit a bug report after you have launched 1.8.9 and waited some time (more than you usually have to wait for it to launch).
