Hi I've been using badlion client ever since I got back into MC and I've had no problems with the client itself however when I went to change my name to my current username, "Dougson" I saw on name.mc that it was a taken username. I changed my name to "Real_Dougson" and today decided that it's a stupid name and I should change it to something better. I chose "DougsonYT" for some advertising of my youtube channel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I changed my name and tried the old trick where I log into the Minecraft launcher, log out, then log back in because that's how I remember doing it in 2017. When I tried that in badlion client it did not work and when I tried logging into my SMP server, it told me, "Username not found". Either I'm doing this wrong, or something is wrong with the name changing.

You have to do it first in the default Minecraft Launcher because your Minecraft account isn't the same as your BLC account.
