After reading this suggestion/idea that you've written I believe that muting 'Nether Portals' being added is not a necessity, but more of a want. If Badlion added 'muted' Nether Portals it would be a thing many users wouldn't need. If you don't like the sound you can go into the settings and turn it down. If you don't know how to do this "Quote" this message and I'll show you how too. Other than that if this was too be implemented can you explain furthermore so when a Staff Member/Developer does read this they have a basic understanding of what you want to be added before they implement it.

Hi!

I think muting Nether portal isn't that necessary, but if you want to "mute" nether portal you can always go to settings, sounds, and mute it in your Minecraft options.
