My idea is to have control profiles that save across versions so instead of having to remap all of your keybinds every time you switch from
1.14 to 1.8 and vice versa, it would be just one universal control profile gui much like the mod profiles gui.

+1. They should also let you save multiple profiles, so you could switch them for different servers. Much like how you can have multiple mod profiles.
