Not Able to install Badlion Client at all.

I have been trying for about an hour to install the client and no matter what i do it always come up with the same error

Installation Aborted
Setup was not completed Successfully

I have tried:
restarting my computer
connecting to wifi rather than ethernet
uninstalling all previous BL files
updating my computer to the latest windows version
installing 64 bit java
installing 7 zip and Win.rar
And Even Deleting Minecraft and Reinstalling it/

And No Matter What i always end up with the same error.

I am getting this same error and i have no idea why i had to reinstall because there where files missing and now i cant install it because i get this message.

Hi.

What was the last version of the launcher you were running?
Did you change the installation location in your current installation or any of your past installations?
Did you try a complete uninstall and a complete clean installation?

Hello,

I believe the last version of BL client I used was 2.8.5
I have left the install path default on the install
And yes I have removed all previous files and tried a clean install.

I want to try and identify the core issue you are having and try to fix it so other users don't have the problem too.

i have same problem. client version: 2.9.0
ive force deleted old client in control panal-> programs and features and it finally installed!
