I think it would be a really cool idea to customize your own cape/cloak edit it to be your own.
I am suggesting this idea because none of the capes really appeal to me and would really like to show off my cape designs and im sure alot of people would agree with me on this.

Hey, in my opinion, a system like Optifine where it is possible to edit and draw your own in pixel art would work, however letting users upload their own images as a cape design would be difficult to moderate as explicit content could be put on there with ease. It's just not worth the time to check every cape change and therefore it's not a viable option.
