Title says it all. I have confirmed it does not work on vanilla or Optifine 1.14.4. Maybe an issue with fullbright?

This is an issue with 1.14, if you don’t have Fulbright on, you should turn it on as it well fix the bug. Though it will make everything bright.

Fullbright doesn't fix the problem for me. It still shows the dark spots, but I am also using shaders. Does that change it?

I'm assuming this would interfere, try turning them off.
