This post isn't me saying he is a bad staff member, it is just me saying he needs to act upon /reports more often, today for about 5-10 minutes i was using /report to try get a hacker banned. Radical just totally ignored it, i know he wasn't afk because he was muting people. this could be a misunderstanding from me, because i know staff are busy, but surely if he is muting people he has the time to quickly spectate a hacker and ban him which would take less than 30 seconds of his time.Posted on 30 January 2015 - 12:40 PM
Maybe he didn't think the guy was hacking. And even if he did, mods usually don't ban mid-match.Posted on 30 January 2015 - 12:43 PM
The player who was hacking, his head was spinning all over the place, he was crit hacking and using aura. It was clear hacks. I had multiple fights with the player over a period of 5-10 minutes and no action was taken.Posted on 30 January 2015 - 12:45 PM
Maybe his recording software was malfunctioning. You can never know. There's no reason to call him out on the forums for something like this.Posted on 30 January 2015 - 12:48 PM
If you read the what this post is about, i said im not saying he is a bad mod or anything like that. im saying he needed to take more action over the /report instead of just leaving it. i didn't call him out, im just saying he shouldn't have ignored that /report. calling someone out is completely different to what im trying to get at here.Posted on 30 January 2015 - 01:00 PM
a) it's really not different, you came onto the forums, made a post about him, and in it said that he should be moderating betterb) like I said, there's a million reasons for him to not have answered your report. Maybe he was having trouble with his recording software. Maybe he was playing ranked himself and just muting people that were breaking chat rules. Hell, for all you know, he was at school, on MineChat, moderating chat. You will never be able to know why he didn't spectate you, or if he did, why he didn't issue a ban.
c) other people fight hackers, too. What makes your report so much more important than everybody else's? Maybe he was watching somebody else's match and happened to issue a few muted while he waited for the match to end. Is that not okay?

Sorry i didn't realise you know everything. If you read the post, i clearly say im not saying he is a bad mod, i was just making a statement about what just happened. he has seen the post and explained to me what was going on. so if you could kindly stop posting and let someone of importance reply (if they feel the need to) i would be grateful.Posted on 30 January 2015 - 05:00 PM
Forgive my ego for replying when you request only someone of importance to reply. I'm not trying to insult you with this, because you would have no way of knowing, but you're a bit ignorant on the subject. Hivlik is 100% correct with his responses. There's a million different reasons that could justify him not seeing your report. What may seem like clear hacks to you could be an absolute legit player. The chat spam you guys see is just a small portion of what mods see. Moderators have to deal with constant PMs from players asking questions, reporting hackers, etc. Mods have to see the constant flow of /reports which quite frankly some days there's 20+ reports per minute. On top of that they see Gcheat(hacker notifications). Badlion mods have to record EVERY single hacker they ban, obviously this can be a little time consuming depending on what recording software you use, so removing hackers can take a bit longer then some would like. We all hate getting in a match with a hacker and losing elo, It's very frustrating. You work so hard to gain something and someone just spends 30 seconds installing a client and takes it away from you. I hope I've enlightened you a bit more on the subject, and have given you the answers you were looking for. Just know a mods job is incredibly hard, and they are all volunteers. They still enjoy being players themselves, and I wouldn't want any mod to feel pressured away from being able to play and enjoy the game. If the case was him doing matches and muting in between then kudos to him. He's doing both his job and having fun.Posted on 30 January 2015 - 07:08 PM
I don't see why you guys are trying to turn this into something it isn't. I haven't said he is a shit moderator and can't do his job. I totally respect the staff, and what they have to do with the server, but on this occasion i didnt know why he was just totally ignoring my "plee" for help. Also BurntCactus if you had read my last reply, i clearly said that he has spoken to me about what happened and we cleared it up. But thank you for repeating what Hivlik said.Posted on 30 January 2015 - 08:03 PM

He' a player too. He's allowed to play in ranked matches just like you. We can't catch every single hacker on the server, especially when there's just one moderator on. You have to understand that there are more people /reporting than just you and more people hacking than just the guy you /reported.

i'd personally like to see you do a better job than this server's moderationPosted on 30 January 2015 - 09:14 PM
Omg can no one listen or read? i have said that we have resolved it now, and i know what the staff do and they are busy. i have said that many a time. i dont see why people are making this something it isn't im not having a rant, neither am i saying he is a bad staff member, it was just a misunderstanding between me and him, i have said that twice maybe three times now, there isn't any need for comment like yours cringiecake.Posted on 30 January 2015 - 10:25 PM
I agree and disagree with you.I agree that it looks like he is ignoring you since he's also muting people. IT LOOKS LIKE IT.
In reality, though, I disagree with you because he was probably playing ranked matches and muting people in between.

I understand it was just a misunderstanding, but it wasn't necessary at all to post on the forumsPosted on 31 January 2015 - 01:25 AM
It was nessaccery to post, surely if players on the server have something to say they can post about it? And all these comments are the same, I have said I understand that he is busy and stuff, like Ive said before we have spoken about the issue and resolved it between us. There is not need for further posting from my point of view but feel free to post to a resolved post.Posted on 31 January 2015 - 01:46 AM

No it's not necessary to post
Radical is a good staff member and he doesn't need to be publicly aknowledged like this on the forums
If you had a problem, you should've made a report on him or something, or possibly even PMd him
