Try this (WinRaR is required for this procedure): go to the folder in Windows Explorer, where you extracted, select all the files (timelines.json, markers.json, etc.), right click on selected files, click on "Add to archive…", choose "ZIP" instead of "RAR" under Archive Format, change the filename under Archive name from "something.zip" into "something.mcpr" and click OK.

Drag that file into .minecraft\replay_recordings\ folder and it should work (unless the replay was previously corrupted).

Windows Explorer is able to open, edit, write and create zip files itself.

Otherwise I would not use WinRAR because of the nasty advertisment. A completely free alternative is 7zip.
