Every time i close a gui the slider pops up on waypoints its annoying, i dont really know tho if thats why i cant type in anvils tho.
This has also bugged every gui, they dont work properly

Hello!

Make sure you have not binded waypoint mod to the esc key, or which ever key you use to close gui.
You can simply check it by following next steps:

Go to any server >> Click right shift >> search for waypoint mod >> Make sure the key isn't esc (or which key you use to close the gui). If it is you should just change it to something other. Personally I use M or B. (Just a suggestion)
