I just came across the badlion client about an hour ago and decided to give it a try. Install was fine, restarted my comp, ran the launcher, and when I loaded up my map - everything was gone, just a barren default looking map. However, I did still have items in my inventory. I regrettably opened a second map to see if it had the same issue, it did. I went back to my old launcher and everything was the same, no buildings, or anything. I noticed, afterwards, that I ran my maps on the default 1.8.9 version, and not the 1.14.4 version.

I created a new map(on the old client) and placed a few blocks, then ran the 1.14.4 version on badlion and everything worked fine. I am just hoping there is a way to revert the loss of my 2 maps as I have poured over a hundred hours into them.

Try going back onto the worlds that broke on 1.14.4, I hope it will work otherwise I don't know if you can revert old save files if you haven't saved them before(after going into the wrong version). There might be some youtube tutorials.

I've tried it, it hasn't worked, just still gives me the same old default map, that isn't even the default of the map it originally was. I do have some back ups, but I can't seem to run them. I can probably figure that out though, hopefully I just can run a back up and only lose some of the last few things I have done.
