MAC - cannot change attack/destroy key
I just purchased Badlion Insider so I can play on my MAC. I do not use a mouse and play on a trackpad. I don't click the trackpad to attack/destroy but use right shift to hit. I cannot switch the control to right shift, only to left and right-click. Is there any way to switch the control? Thanks!

Unfortunately, on BLC there is no way to change the "Attack/Destroy" key to something else other than mouse buttons.

I have met a handful of players who play on a MAC laptop like me, and none of them use the trackpad as their "attack/destroy" key. This makes BLC not very appealing to most MAC players… I think this bind's options, only right and left click, should be reconsidered given its illogical nature to MAC users.

PC player here why can we not rebind these keys i have always used Q/E for attack/place

We definitely are going to change this. I've seen a few people ask about it, and the original reason is no longer valid.

While I am able to change my attack/destroy bind to other keys, none of those keys work. Only the left/right mouse buttons work as attack/destroy keys….

Edit: There are two parts to the bind "attack/destroy"
I can destroy with a bind on the keyboard but, I cannot attack, meaning swinging my fist at other players or in the air in general. The bind only works when looking at a block that you can break.

UPDATE: now i can break stuff with the key but cant hit…

can confirm on PC same behavior i can map the key but i can not attack mobs / punch, but i can break blocks

Close the client and submit a bug report to send your logs. Meyp has already said he was going to report this so unless you can do it, it hasn't been fixed yet.

I don't think Dominos1's post was disrespectful or rude. (o.O?)

Admins and developers are aware of this bug and it's going to be fixed. This is not the only bug that needs to be fixed. Obviously, it's going to take some time to go through all bugs and fix them. (:

Im sorry for the inconvenience but we want you to understand that we can't just update the client whenever it flies .It will probably be fixed shortly but we would appreciate it if you were patient.Domino's post wanst disrespectful in my opinion he just said how things are so you would understand

Obviously, I can't tell his tone of voice from this short message but that kind of phrase has some attitude in it…

I appreciate all your responses to my post. It can be pretty frustrating having paid for Insider and not being able to use the client to its full capacity for over a week out of the 3 months that I've subscribed.

I look forward to this fix,
