Can't play singleplayer
I can't create or play any singleplayer worlds. Everytime I try, I spawn in the air and fall for a long time, then finally lands, but then I can't make any inputs or my game crashes.
In the video I'm linking, I didn't press anything and didn't move my mouse until I landed, and pressed 'W'. I then pressed the windows key a bunch, then I finally closed it on my second monitor.
I don't know why this happening, and this also isn't a BLC-exclusive issue, the same thing happens on the vanilla Minecraft client as well, but I just assume I can get a quicker and better answer here.
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Update/Edit: THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING ON MULTIPLAYER TOO

Hello,

How many GB of RAM have you allocated for Badlion Client and how many GB of RAM does your computer have?

Sorry for the late response. My computer has 16 GB and BLC is using 2048 MB. I don't see how this could be the problem though, because it worked just last week and I haven't changed anything. Granted, I never opened singleplayer until yesterday, but I have played multiplayer and both have just broke.

Hello,

The first thing I thought about was some sort of issue related to allocating way too much RAM for Minecraft.

  • Reinstall vanilla Minecraft and Badlion Client.
  • If it's happening on vanilla Minecraft as well (as you mentioned), you should give a try and uninstall vanilla Minecraft and Badlion Client via the control panel and reinstall both of them again.

  • Minecraft and Optifine settings.
  • I'd suggest looking for the best settings for performance on Google. There are loads of examples available.

  • Update your graphics driver.
  • Make sure you have installed the latest graphics drivers. You can do that via the device manager.

  • Make sure you don't have viruses, malware.
  • Malwarebytes ADWCleaner is a utility to clean a PC that is infected with malware. Here's the download link: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/adwcleaner
Run the scan. Remove any malware found and restart your computer.
Note: if you know and use a different scanner, you can use another one.
