My subtitles show as "True" in the config. But launching via the BL client, I have no option in game "Music and Sounds" to turn them on or off? Looking for some direction, or if they are disabled in the current version? I don't see any subtitles, can't toggle them, and can't find any setting when booting through BL.Posted on 27 December 2019 - 05:13 AM
What Minecraft version are you using ? Mojang might have changed where the subtitles are toggled depending on the version. Try Chat Settings.Posted on 27 December 2019 - 01:12 PM
I'm using 1.8.9 through the BL client, and I do not see any subtitle options in Chat, or Music and Sounds. And like I said, in config for MINECRAFT, subtitles are set to true, but in BL client, I cannot toggle them or see them.Posted on 27 December 2019 - 01:17 PM
Subtitles were a new feature available starting from 1.12. I’m not sure how to turn them on in earlier versions, if you even can.Posted on 27 December 2019 - 01:31 PM
But my point is that by booting through the Minecraft (Mojang) Launcher, regardless of version, I get subtitles. But, launching via BL client, i get none. Implying BL client has no way for the deaf to listen to the game. Not Minecraft.
