This thread will be explaining clans in SG.

Purpose of Clans:


-Clan Battling/Scrimming
-Learning Routes
-Having fun
-Making new friends.
-Many more things

Clan battles:


Clan battles are what clans do to see what clan is the "best." A clan battle consists of getting two clans in one server, and fighting it out inside the server. The clan that remains alive in the server will win that round of the clan battle. Clan battles typically are best of 5/9. (First to 3 or 5 wins). Clan battles are normally 6v6 and 8v8, but some smaller side clans do 4v4s. You can organize a clan battle by private messaging someone on the forums, Skype, Teamspeak, and other programs like these. After the battle is done, you will post the results of the battle somewhere on your thread, regardless if it was a win or loss. Clan battles will be played in the unranked servers for now. (Preferably on the good maps. Ex: SG4/Holiday Resort.)

Scrims:

Scrims are the same thing, except they are not counted for anything. These are for fun and messing around. A place to test new things, and tryout new players before jumping to the real thing. Scrims are also to be done on the unranked servers.

(I would base clan threads off those threads because they look nice and are easy to follow)

Fun things to do as a clan:

-Scrim
-Clan battle
-Inner clan scrims
-inner clan 2v2's, 3v3's, 4v4's, etc.
-Other games

Things you shouldn't do:

-Avoid 'clan hopping'. Don't join and leave a ton of clans within a short period of time. People don't like clan hoppers.
-Don't trashtalk other clans
-Don't cheat
-Don't exploit SG glitches and bugs
-Don't have a lot of players in your clan with bad rep, as it will bring down the rep of your clan.

Dantelius! Dantelius! I want to clarify, how would 2 clans face each other if they want to battle? Would everyone just join the unranked sg at the same time, or there like a specific place or something, or is there a way to specifically battle clan vs clan? Notify me on how to do this!

Okay, so the clan with more non donators would look for the server. They would get their members in it and message someone from the other clan the server number. The other clan would then try to get all their members in. (easier if you have donators) If they don't get all their members in, then it's a new server. @stheegala

If the clan does not have one, that probably means it's invite only.
