In using the latest version of the Badlion client for Mac.

As soon as I try to access a server (multiplayer option and then click a server name or direct connect to a server name), the Badlion client freezes - the screen freezes and becomes unresponsive. This happens immediately after I select a server to join or press return after entering a server address in direct connect.

There’s no spinning beachball and the in game mouse pointer still moves which suggests that the application itself hasn’t fully stopped responding.

The problem is present in all Minecraft versions I’ve tried with the Badlion client.

Vanilla Minecraft works fine without Badlion.

Could somebody suggest a possible solution?

Next time the game crashes submit a bug report through the launcher. You can do that by scrolling down and clicking on the "Submit Bug Report" button in the launcher. It will send us your logs. Logs are required for most bug reports as they contain errors and information to help identify what the problem is and fix it.

It will bring you to the page where you will need to fill some questions out so we can be aware of what is wrong. Don't forget to click on "Add New Thread" when you have finished!
Once you have submitted a bug report, it might take some time (usually up to 24 hours) for a developer or admin to respond, please be patient.
