I run minecraft with badlion client on version 1.8.9 (Optifine is set to be on)
And when i go into the settings,there is no Shaders etc.

Hello,

Try disabling your firewall and antivirus and then launch the game with Optifine enabled. The firewall and antivirus might be blocking the Optifine installation.

If that didn't help, enable the firewall and antivirus (it's not recommended to leave both of them turned off), and submit a bug report through the launcher. Follow these steps to submit a bug report:
1. Launch 1.8.9 with Optifine enabled.
2. Open Minecraft settings to make sure Optifine hasn't loaded. You can also check if you have the zoom option, or as you mentioned, the shaders option.
3. If you don't have those settings, go back to the launcher, scroll down and click on "Submit Bug Report".


It will send us your logs and the tech support team will look into the problem.
