Can't use other people's mod profiles

Hi,I can't seem to use other people's mod profiles because as soon as i launch into the client, it just changes the mod profile to a .json.OUTDATED file and i can't seem to figure out why.
btw I'm on Mac.

Hello, this is surely occurring because we recently changed how profiles were stored and made across all versions. To convert old profiles into the the new system, please follow this tutorial:https://www.badlion.net/wiki/how-to-convert-mod-profiles

Please try putting the profile in both BLClient-Profiles… and BLClient-profiles… 1.8 (or the version the you’re using) and then try converting, or just the 1.8 folder.
