I tried loading kayzeee's Cosy pack, and it does not load, the game just uses default textures and the pack goes back into the list of unused packs. Yet when I tried to load the version of Cosy without the overlays, it worked flawlessly. Why is that?

Thank you for sending the overlay. I was going through several options and I found one option that worked.
This is how I got it to work:
1. Go to the 'resourcepacks' folder.
2. Find the Cozy overlay pack. It should be compressed (zipped).
3. If you have WinRAR, right-click on the pack and then click on "Extract files…". It will show you the extraction path and other settings. Just click on "OK". If you don't have WinRAR, create a new file folder in the 'resourcepacks' folder and move all the files from the zipped file into the new file folder.
4. If you used WinRAR, it should have made a new file folder with the same name.
5. Delete the zip file or move it out of the 'resourcepacks' folder.
6. Launch the game. Open the resource pack menu and select the overlay pack. If you didn't delete the zipped file (#5 step), there will be two packs with the same name.
