So, I want all my screenshots to be put into a folder once I take them, but I can't figure out how.Posted on 11 February 2020 - 10:24 AM
Hello,All you need to do is press the screenshot hotkey in-game. By default it's F2. You can find all hotkeys in Minecraft control settings.
Once you press F2, screenahots are saved in the screenshots folder that can be found in .minecraft.

I know that, but I don't want to have to go to %appdata% then .minecraft then screenshots to find my screenshotsLast edited on 11 February 2020 - 11:30 AM by UnknownFact
Hello,You can't change the location of the folder that screenshots are sent to.
If you don't want to go to .minecraft folder every time just to view a screenshot, you can make a shortcut of the screenshots folder and move it to desktop or whatever place you prefer.

You can also do the following as soon as you take a screenshotUpload it to the web, and get the link to it (whilst it being in the folder)
Delete it
Or tweet it
All these can be used to make the screenshot function faster.

^ Useful for moments if you need to share a screenshot really quickly but does absolutely nothing when it comes to screenshot saving and the folder. As I mentioned, the fastest way of accessing all the saved screenshots from completely different locations of your computer is to create a shortcut. It's really, really useful. For instance, if you move the shortcut to your desktop, all you need to do is double-click and the Minecraft screenshots folder will be opened.
I didn't write a tutorial on how to create a shortcut in my previous post, I'm going to do it in this one instead:
1. Open .minecraft
2. Right-click on the screenshots folder.
3. Click on "Create shortcut".
4. Find the recently created shortcut (the name of it should be screenshots - Shortcut).
5. Right-click on the shortcut, click on "Cut", choose the place you want the shortcut to be in, right-click and click on "Paste" or simply drag it somewhere.
