Motion blur causes it to get dark

When I try to use motion blur, if I walk under anything it makes my screen get really dark. I have fullbright on and brightness in the settings on max, also have fast render and anti aliasing off. I have tried both old blur and normal, nothing seems to fix it.Posted on 21 February 2020 - 08:31 AM
Hello,I’ve seen this happen to someone once before. May you give me some information on what version you are on and if this occurs on all versions ?

the only version I use the client with is 1.8.9. I have realized it only happens with certain texture packs, but its probably about half of the texture packs I have that it does it with.Here's a GIF i took of it happening: https://gyazo.com/d743fe29ee81c89b9c9bb61318cb80ae
