I've given mc 2gb of memory out of 8. Changing resource packs makes memory usage increase by like 20% everytime after i change my pack. Eventually if it goes to 90%+ it starts freezing every second, on 95%+ it crashes. This, however, doesn't happen if i launch mc from the official launcher (same 2gb given).

Version: 1.8.9 Optifine on both Badlion and official launchers

Reply if i should give video or screenshots of reproducing this.
