Yesterday when it said magma boss in 16 mins , i waited until the timer reseted and 1 more hour till the next one, im pretty sure its suppose to spawn every 1 and a half hours so pls fixPosted on 08 March 2020 - 12:47 AM
Hello,If the timer is showing a wrong time, you can simply rejoin the nether and it should update itself.

I would like to know on which Minecraft version the Magma Boss timer resets to one hour and not two after the boss has been killed.I just launched 1.8.9 and the Magma Boss timer was the same as on the website from which the timer is taken - https://hypixel.inventivetalent.org/skyblock-magma-timer/

We are using an API from here which means that we can't change the timer because that API does not belong to us. The in-game Magma Boss timer sometimes is broken, however, it should not reset back to 01:00:00 after every hour. The timer that resets back to 01:00:00 after every hour is the Dark Action timer (it is supposed to do that).I launched 1.8.9 and waited a few hours and I did not see the timer resetting back to one hour. Every time the Magma Boss was killed, the timer did reset to back 02:00:00.
The timer at the top is from the website and the bottom one is from the in-game mod.
If you are not sure whether the in-game timer is correct or not, you can check the timer that can be found on the website (click here).

The Dark action timer uses your system time. The Dark auction happens every 3 in-game days, or 1 hour IRL, at every point that is 5 minutes before a full IRL hour (UTC), for example, 00:55; 01:55; 02:55; and so on. That point is exactly midnight in-game.
