1.8.9 Glass not showing

I am having problems seeing the glass texture when it is placed down as a block.I am using BLC client with mc 1.8.9 with Optifine on
I will link my video settings
The glass texture is invisible but it shows up in inventory (the screenshot with the lava and water should have glass all around it)
I am using ImperiaL's hypixel texture pack but changing the texture pack seemed to make no difference
Changing up the Connected Textures option in the video settings had no effect
Going to 1.15.2 makes the glass appear just fine.

EDIT: Tested it out with Grass and Glass Panes.
Grass shows up just fine
Glass panes are also invisible

Hello,Turn off "Clear Glass" located in the GRAPHICS category that should fix your problem.

What do you mean graphics category? I see no such menu. I've searched for clear glass setting but there seems to be nonePosted on 18 March 2020 - 01:47 PM
go to Badlion client graphic settings (press RIGHT SHIFT, then click on GRAPHICS (it is located at the top), find "Clear Glass" and disable it)Posted on 18 March 2020 - 05:32 PM
