With the new talk of splitting potion pvp again, there are some problems that arise. If we split potion pvp into a server between pot and non-pot, then the community will split, no questions. And I don't think that's what we want. Ever since the implementation of the OCN ladder, Badlion has offered a sort of mixed pvp - from UHC to Soup to straight-up Vanilla pvp. Splitting the communities between EU and NA isn't that big a deal; they're already sort of split, considering the timezones. But splitting up the mixed pvp community that you offer unlike any other big server isn't what you want to do.

That said, there clearly is a problem with the server being full, and if we want to expand as a server and a community, then we have to provide people with more playing slots. There has already been a part of the community split off, though, ever since Pot 2.0. FFA regulars have a different sub community than the rest of us. In Pot 2.0, they even had a separate chat. What we can do is add a new server dedicated simply to FFA. You can still pick between Vanilla, MCSG, or UHC, but it is on a different server on the network completely.

There are a few reasons that this can fix the problem. First off, you will free up a ton of slots on Pot. There are so many people that play the FFAs, and if they migrate to a different server on the network, then you'll probably free up hundreds of slots. Something that happens quite often is that non-donors will get on pot, play their 10 matches, and then just play FFA. So what happens here is they play their ten matches and then log onto the FFA server. Slots will free up on pot, and then the cycle can continue. Also, this might add a new attraction in and of itself. If you revamp it and add more FFAs, then I can't see much reason as to why it wouldn't be.

Also, something that your server has based its popularity off of for a long time is the primal urge to increase those numbers. Always. From elo to BSG games to number of diamonds on factions, it's always been a part of the Badlion Network. If you want to make something really popular, then embrace this fact, and add FFA stats. And not the scoreboard on the side of your screen that shows you your kills; I mean leaderboards on the website; stat track everything you can (within reason) and add it to the website, and I think your FFA server popularity will boom.

+1 I really like this idea and maybe if you get 100 kills without dying you can use something simulair like a DNA BOMB (totally not stolen from rankup)

On soup, there's an FFA outside of spawn. On potion, there are a few FFAs when you hit the golden axe in your hotbar. They're still each on the respective server. What I'm proposing here is a separate FFA server entirely.
