There is a message icon on the bottom-right of my screen. How do I access that. I am new to Badlion so sorry for my stupid question.

Hello,

Open the chat, click on the settings button at the top right corner, then click on Badlion Client.

If you want to hide that icon, click on that button, then click on settings and disable the notifications icon through there.
