Expensive Custom Capes - Let Me Explain
Posted on 28 April 2020 - 12:34 PM
So, I've always wanted to have a custom cape - it would be so cool! So what I think should happen is that everybody could design their own cape - for a price! So, here's how it would work. Normal capes are sold for $12.00. I think that, to design your own cape, $15.00 is a good price.
OPTIONS (fine if you add or subtract options or edit the prices or whatever, these are just ideas)
1. You could change the resolution (all would cost the same)
1.1. Optifine Resolution (for lack of a better description, 16x)
1.2. 32x (twice Optifine size)
1.3. 64x (four times Optifine size)
1.4. Regular Badlion size
2. Animated or Not
2.1. Not Animated ($15, normal price)
2.2. Animated ($16, $1.00 more)
TOOLS
(Apart from the pixel brush for 16x - 64x and the regular brushes for the Badlion resolution)
1. Pillow effect (choose two colors, allow one to fill the cape and the other to expand and gradually fade into the other color, as big or small as the player decides)
2. Light/dark splotches (click a shape and then click an area on the cape to make a corresponding splotch of dark or lighter color in that shape, as light or as dark as the player wants)
3. Animation (made on a frame by frame basis)
4. Holes (let's say you want a torn cape that maybe has seen some trouble and has gotten ripped. You could decide each pixel on the lower-res capes or areas on the Badlion Res cape. Great for putting some life into the capes)
MARKETPLACE
(Fine if you don't want this)
Insiders could put their cape on the marketplace for the regular $12. You could buy this and use it, edit it (for YOUR VERSION), or both! You could also allow only certain players to buy it, or forbid certain players. Also, capes would have to be approved before they are permitted to be sold on the marketplace.
I hope you liked my ideas, and have a great day!

Hello,This is a cool idea but it would most likely be only for insiders. The capes would have to be approved everytime.
+1/-1 I'm in the middle with this idea
