Minecraft Launcher freezes my computer.
Posted on 12 May 2020 - 02:50 AM
The client opens perfectly fine but Minecraft launcher goes white (sometimes black with a white rectangle in the middle) and freezes my PC and then I have to restart because when it is freezing my pc I can't click on anything I can only move my cursor around. The only recent changes I've made were adding two schematics to the. Minecraft folder and installing Geforce experience for better fps in Modern Warfare.I posted this in Badlion client bugs but didn't get an answer yet so I posted here because I missed a server release that I was really looking forward to, and can't play Minecraft still.

I've tried multiple versions of Minecraft. I've tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling. Not sure what to do now.Posted on 12 May 2020 - 03:54 AM
If the issue started happening after you had installed GeForce Experience, uninstall it and check if the issue persists.Make sure every driver (including graphics) and Windows is up to date.
Make a second Windows profile and try launching Minecraft on it. If it launches perfectly fine on it, then your profile is corrupted.

I've tried all the suggestions and none of those work when I went to another profile, Minecraft wouldn't even show the window.Last edited on 15 May 2020 - 03:53 PM by UnknownFact
Run a SFC.Start your PC in safe mode. If you are having no issues in safe mode, try to check in clean boot. A ‘clean boot’ starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game.
Check if everything (drivers, including BIOS) is up to date on your computer.
It might also be related to a hardware issue.
If you believe this issue is caused by Badlion Client and If you already have made a thread here https://www.badlion.net/forum/category/108, wait for the tech support team to respond. They might ask you to upload a dump file (they should explain how to do it).
