is there a way to change the keybind to get into the menu other than right shift or the esc button. i just want to know since i wanted to change it but i never knew how

Yes there is!

Open your Badlion Client Settings tab -> Click the gear (https://imgur.com/a/RrXoweB) located, relatively, in the top right of your settings, which is labeled "Slideout Settings -> change the key from RShift to whatever you so choose!
